Another Friend Survey from Megan
From time to time, Megan will send me these "friend surveys". Since I detest the project I am supposed to be working on here in the office, I shall do my best to answer them here - and kill a little time between now and quitting time. To the right is the answer to question #21.
1. What is your occupation? Research Education Specialist, University of Kentucky
2. What color is your underwear? Hmmm...had to check. Today they are navy blue.
3. What are you listening to right now? The clicking of the keyboard and my boss in her office talking way too loud.
4. What was the last thing you ate? Cheez-its
5. Do you wish on stars? On occasion, if I'm allowing myself to be the hopeless romantic I am at heart
6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Burnt Umber (just because it sounds cool)
7. How is the weather right now? Partly cloudy and mild
8. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Someone on campus who couldn't figure out something on the computer
9. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Absolutely - if not, I would have deleted it
10. How old are you today? 34
11. Favorite drink? Grape soda
12. Favorite sport to watch? Basketball, although I'm not very fond of watching any sport on TV. 13 . Have you ever dyed your hair? Many times
14. Do you wear contacts or glasses? Glasses
15. Do you have pets? 2 cats- Callie and Macy Gray
16. Favorite month? depends on where I am - I like when the leaves change color and it's cold enough to wear a sweater and cuddle without getting sweaty
17. Favorite food? Moussaka
18. What was the last movie you watched? Ethan Hawke's post-modern version of Hamlet
20. What do you do to vent anger? Cuss like a sailor and complain vehemently
21. What was your favorite toy as a child? Seawee dolls (little mermaid dolls that floated on sponge lilly pads in the bathtub)
22. Fall or Spring? Fall
23. Hugs or kisses? I refuse to be forced to choose....okay, hugs
24. Cherry or Blueberry? Cherry
25. Living arrangements? In a 3 br apartment with my husband and 2 cats
26. When was the last time you cried? Last night - I was sick and ticked off
27. What's on the floor of your closet? Comforters in their bags from the dry cleaners, and lots of shoes
28. Who is the friend you have had the longest? My mom
29. What did you do last night? I laid in bed uncomfortable because I was still sick and "croupy" and tried my best to sleep while Michael watched the second half of the Miami-FSU game
30. What inspires you? Great music, someone who is very accomplished and yet humble, and the generosity of others
31. What are you afraid of? Strange noises in the dark when I'm alone, of being homeless, of being a bad mother, of becoming diabetic, of loosing my parents
32. Plain, cheese or spicy burgers? The best burger I've ever had is a toss up between The Copper Monkey in Gainesville, FL and Jackson's Hole in Denver, CO. The first had the "Monkey Burger", and Jackson's Hole had the "Signature Burger" made with bacon, cheddar cheese, and chunky blue cheese dressing. Man, that was a good burger.
33. Favorite car? Chrysler Sebring convertible
34. Favorite dog breed? Lhasa Apso
35. Number of keys on your key ring? 12
36. How many years at your current job? it will be 1 year on December 14th
37. Favorite day of the week? Saturdays
38. How many states / countries have you lived in? FL, TN, CO, GA, and KY - US and Mexico
39. How many cities have you lived in? Vero Beach, Memphis, Denver, Columbus, and Lexington
Woo hooo - only 10 more minutes to "work".
